Advisor Role/Hooding Logistics
If you intend to participate in the ceremony, please check in with your advisor to see if they are able to attend and hood you. If they cannot come, you can still be hooded by an alternate or by one of the KSAS Deans, but it is important to coordinate this in advance so that regalia can be ordered.
If you are participating in the Hooding Ceremony, your hood will be provided to you at the event on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Ceremony Details
Complimentary parking will be available in the South Garage (under Mason Hall-#47 on map). For those needing mobility assistance, there are a limited number of ADA spots in the Shriver Lot (behind Shriver Hall-#66 on map), along with a passenger drop-off area.
Tickets have been distributed through the Marching Order website. If you have not done so, please download them and distribute them as needed. If you have any trouble doing so or need any additional tickets, please contact [email protected]. Please note that graduates do not need a ticket for the ceremony.
We anticipate that all graduates, faculty, and guests will go through “airport-style” security screening for admittance, which includes searches of purses and other small bags. Please do not wear regalia upon arrival. All hooding participants should plan to robe in the Clipper Room.
