Through our extensive policy and resource listings, the office offers support services to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows as they pursue their studies at Johns Hopkins.

Privacy Policy for ASEN Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs Advising

Conversations and correspondences with students, postdoctoral fellows, and/or faculty may be considered private upon request unless information shared reveals a direct threat to the student/postdoc/faculty and/or others, and/or reveals sexual harassment/assault information (or any other information for which the university is required by law to report).

Prior to any conversation, or as soon as possible upon engagement, advising staff will verbally share this policy to the student/postdoctoral fellow/faculty. Advising staff will also consult with and/or report in a timely manner to General Counsel, OIE and/or security (as appropriate) on required/questionable matters.
